Virgin Abis is one of three operators on St. John working toward opening day, and one of two CBD-to-dispensary transitions on the island. The dispensary will open in the same Mongoose Junction storefront in Cruz Bay that used to be the local CBD shop, with the same team running the regulated cannabis side. The owners are three permanent residents of St. John, two of them born and raised on the island, and they said from their earliest public messaging that they would apply for a dispensary license once the process opened.
